A new year. It's a new day. It's a new moment. And although most of us use the new year to recharge, re-commit, and find our hour again, it is a moment that is available anytime we want it.
I don't create new year's resolutions or create a list of items I am going to change and work on and sign-up for a bunch of things that I "think" I should do. I do however get excited and participate in the energy of a newness that is available during the new year. As I sit with how to live a life with sacredness, I offer these suggestions:
Sit quietly and breathe
Allow yourself the feel the excitement, joy, hope and willingness
See what comes to you - it could be a color, a scent, an image, a word
Ask yourself, how can I honor this wisdom? What actions can I take? What can I stop doing? How can create more (fill in the blank).
Happy New Year! And Happy New MOMENT...each one counts, really!
